Unit (CCU) as part of your clinical course. You have been assisting a
critical care nurse with the care of a client who has been
experiencing significantly low blood pressures throughout the day.
The nurse has to step away from the bedside to take a phone call
and instructs you to increase the intravenous (IV) medication if the
client’s systolic blood pressure drops below 90 mmHg. What is the
